Raquel Ibar Alonso, PhD – Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (Spain)

Director of ASEPUMA Data Laboratory and Research Professor in the Department of Applied Economics I of Rey Juan Carlos University (URJC). She has a degree in Mathematics and a PhD in Economic Analysis and Applied Economics with Extraordinary Doctoral Award. She has been a visiting professor at the Regional Economic Applications Laboratory (REAL) of the University of Illinois (Chicago) and has participated in research projects funded by public and private institutions, as principal investigator in some and researcher in others. She maintains a multidisciplinary character in her line of research, focused on the study of advanced statistical techniques, social behavior, and big data. With publications in journals indexed in JCR and SCOPUS and presentations at international and national conferences.
