GKA INNO 2021 VIRTUAL | MARCH 24-27, 2021
International Conference on Innovation and Education for Development in collaboration with UNIMINUTO

Highlighted Theme
The internationalization of education as an engine for development
Internationalization has a marked impact on higher education institutions, shaping their teaching, research and extension functions. Hence, in addition to boosting the visibility of universities, all actions to promote global projects and strengthen intercultural competencies lead to benefits in quality, innovation, academic management and knowledge transfer.
In an increasingly digital world, educational institutions adopt and adapt emerging technologies to advance processes inherent to internationalization, so that they may develop without the need to move abroad. Notably, alliances between universities promote and facilitate exchanges and sharing, which spotlights the joint work and positioning of these institutions.
The push for internationalization can be seen in a variety of aspects such as academic mobility, participation in networks, global syllabi, joint research and collaborative online learning projects, in which teachers and students connect, fostering the improvement of education quality standards.
.
The present edition of the conference calls to participate with work related to the importance and benefits of internationalization. How do networks contribute to knowledge management? What research projects offer solutions to common problems? How do digital and intercultural competencies improve through the development of collaborative online projects? What are the learning goals of global educational programmes? What internationalization goals are promoted within educational institutions? These questions will be explored in addition to the regular themes of the conference.
