In the XXI century society, the prevalence of information and communication technologies is indisputable. It is their constant growth and development that has been determining and will continue to do so in the coming times, the progress of all areas in which human beings develop.
In the educational area, the digital evolution and the events of the last two years have marked the way of understanding the teaching and learning process. Thus, after the confinement experienced in the spring of 2020 by all countries, generated by the SARCOV-2 virus, the way of seeing, feeling and understanding the educational act has taken a turn of one hundred and eighty degrees. This has led all the agents involved in the training processes carried out at all educational levels to “reinvent” themselves.
This reinvention process has meant a substantial change in the entire educational system, elements such as e-learning platforms (LMS) began to be understood as something more than a simple space where to deposit documents to be seen as a real communication tool between the teacher and the student.
However, elements such as the lack of training or technological or economic resources have marked all this road travelled, and still continue to do so.
Nevertheless, the restless spirit that characterizes human beings has promoted teaching experiences where innovation has come hand in hand with the creative spirit of students and teachers. On the other hand, research processes have also been affected, in some cases slowed down by the difficulties of access to the field and in others boosted by the possibility of incorporating unimaginable elements or variables that can affect the teaching and learning processes.
This conference aims to give a voice to teachers, students, researchers, educational theorists and practitioners, as well as to the entire educational community and all those interested in the growth of education in general and ICT-related education in particular. The main objective is to create a space to share experiences and concerns both from the perspective of educational practice and from the researcher’s point of view.
