About GKA Publishing

GKA Publishing is a publisher that is part of Global Knowledge Academics, located at the Science Park of the Autonomous University of Madrid.

GKA Publishing publishes research papers and scientific works of international relevance in a variety of languages and formats. It has a collection of academic journals and two book series:

  • Intellectual DIALOGUES of the 21st Century: devoted to collective works around different themes, with highly multi- and interdisciplinary content that meets rigorous academic standards.

All GKA journals have a scientific director who is an expert in the branch of knowledge covered by the journal, and an editorial board made up of international specialists. As regards the books, both series have a permanent editorial board composed of academics of recognized standing.

Open Access (and accessibility)

GKA Publishing is committed to the open access of scientific publications, insofar as the sustainability of the editorial project allows.

We provide all authors of our journals and books a variety of mechanisms to offer open access to the digital versions of their works. More specifically, authors may purchase a CC BY-NC-ND Creative Commons open access license.

GKA Publishing is also committed to continue increasing the accessibility of all its content. Here we are denoting two different meanings of accessibility: on one hand, to make the content we publish accessible to people with disability; on the other hand, to offer our content at the lowest price possible, insofar as national and international circumstances allow.
